Who repairs old Sidekick 7B's?
I pulled it out the other night and any pair I clipped it onto, even dead ones the meter kept bouncing back and forth. Any ideas?

Just a few things before you jump to repair. Change the batteries for starters. Then test the leads: turn the knob all the way to the right, short all 3 leads together, check resistance T-R, T-G, R-G. Wiggle the leads and watch the needle.
There are a few places that do repairs. The easiest thing to do is contact Tempo at 800-642-2155 and ask for repair. They will point you to the closest service center.

RobertF,
Tempo, the manufacturer of the Sidekick series is located in Vista, CA... as in San Diego County. I see you are up in Chatsworth, the Los Angeles area. Closeby! Cheap shipping costs. A couple of years ago, I brought a Sidekick T&N on eBay and took it up to Tempo for a minor repair and calibration. The whole deal, including the eBay purchase, cost me around $400 or perhaps $450, as I recall. Great deal considering they were around $1,400 new!
Good luck!
