My heart is broken. My 745 crapped out on me this week. At first, I thought that it was just bad test leads preventing it from charging properly, etc. Now it is completely dead. That thing has given me so many years of faithful and accurate service.
Does anyone know of a place that fixes them? I checked with Dynatel's repair center, but they want way too much money for their flat-rate repair service. I'm hoping to find someone who will do more than just replace batteries and cords.
Of course, if someone has one that in working order that they'd like to sell, I'd be willing to consider going that route instead.

Would a 985 do? I'm torn. It powers up and makes noise and I've not used it in over a year!

Carl, I'm not familiar with a 985. Could it be that you have a 965?
