OP schlaht Member Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 3 lethbridge	Hello, Troy Schlaht again. I'm wondering is there such a thing as an analog Centrex looped powered set that still can run during power outages. During power failures, the display and buttons still operate normally, like it was plugged in but power is out? The phones operate just like the looped powered digital sets do, but in analog mode. A friend told me there was such a thing but being a telecommunications consultant I should know but I don't. Can you help me out on this? Thanks. (Minor tidying done to post by Dexman.) troy schlaht

metelcom Admin Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 9,285 Likes: 6 Maine, USA	Any standard analog phone will work on a centrex line without power but if you want a key phone to work during power outage I would suggest backup batteries or a large UPS Merritt Business Telephones & Equipment + Commercial Audio/Video Products Commercial Communications . . . Turner, Maine If it was built after 1980 don't expect it to work right.
