We received a call from a customer who claims that they are going to be getting DID trunks delivered via FIOS. Around here, I have only seen two-wire POTS circuits being provided via FIOS, primarily because it's intended to target the residential market. Has anyone seen any other types of voice services being delivered this way, for example PRI?

So far, at least here in Eastern Massachusetts, I believe POTs service is what Verizon is delivering with FIOS.

I have not heard of it either..unless they are getting FIOS for the internet and then SIP trunks...but that is doubtful. I have it at home, it is just like the POTS was when telephones are concerned, the internet service is good, but the TV is AWSOME!!!

In my region WE have not targeted commercial customers yet… but the technology IS out there and our vendors are banging the drum pretty hard on it. It’s very possible it’s possible.

Are there any charts or maps out there that show where FIOS is currently available? I'm from the Chicago area and would love to have something faster than Comcast when it comes to the internet.
