Well, as it happens, Bright House isn't equipped to move TDM over their SONET to me anyway.
They'll do a deal with me in a few months where I get a 4-DS1 CPE that backhauls SIP over Ethernet... but I don't trust that setup to be deterministic enough for the traffic I move.
So if Verizon won't bring me fiber either...
I wonder if I can get L3 to run me a point-to-point across Hidden Oaks to the Qwest POP. :-)

And in fact, we've just gotten a service from Airespring using an Adtran 908 that uses SIP to backhaul 2 PRIs over one clear-channel data T-1, and getting it tuned up has proven as annoying as I'd expected. It's better today than it was yesterday when I turned it up, but it's still not acting like a "real" switch...
