I know this is a 10 month old post.
But we are having Broadvox SIP test trunks install in our office for testing.
Any thoughts on them?

Installed them on an Allworx and there's been no problems. I had the trunks pointed to my shop in Buffalo before having them redirected to my stepson's office in St Pete, FL. Transition was smooth. Tech support was helpful.

>>"I think its funny, all of my phone system manuf, NEC, NORTEL, Allworx, 3Com have a list of "approved" vendors. That's BS if you set it up right it will work. I have even in the past 2 years started offering hosted IP phones (not reselling anyones service) and SIP trunks. The main trick is the router if the Broadband is iffy. I would strongly Edgewater, they make the worse Broadband connection even look good. Hope that helps."
Mike you are correct, control of both ends is the best way to get it done. we also host and use Edgewater routers they are solid and easy. broadsoft and bicom are great when you have the control of them. here grid4 123.net level 3 ect seem to work great as long as you understand the minor differences in configurations. Procurves switch are a good choice also.
