I have run into a problem with a vx2, running 4.5 software. The problem is that any new messages that were left after hours, after reset/clean up, the new messages are deleted and the voicemail system informs the end user that the messages has been deleted. The problem is a software issue. Put the year to 1995, problem fixed.

FYI - I also did this with our customers. However, some of the customers we did not turn off the cleanup process. Changing the date back will only work temporarily. Starting May 2006, the systems that we did not turn the clean up off, started having the very same issues. The customers that we changed the date and turned off the cleanup are still working just fine. So if you run into the problem happening again, please make sure to turn the cleanup off !
