Don't know where you find this stuff Arthur. I was in a Northwestern Bell training film that was filmed at the Des Moines Iowa training center. I'd sure like to find a copy of that one, guessing around the late 70's. Where do you search for such things?

I didn't see it when I looked through the archives. This was a Northwestern Bell training center, the AT&T training centers were different, don't know if that makes any difference or not. Just thought it would be kind of neat if I could find it, something to show my kids and grandkids...Grandpa was in the movies. laugh

This was great. Brought back some memories. Actually saw some of the mistakes that were made & probably made a few myself. Running the terminal with a 216 while a deskman looked for the shunt was pretty common practice. Old C.O. types used to ask a new installer to run the terminal with a finger shunt. He’d have ringing current on the pair. You only did that once.
