Don't know where you find this stuff Arthur. I was in a Northwestern Bell training film that was filmed at the Des Moines Iowa training center. I'd sure like to find a copy of that one, guessing around the late 70's. Where do you search for such things?

I didn't see it when I looked through the archives. This was a Northwestern Bell training center, the AT&T training centers were different, don't know if that makes any difference or not. Just thought it would be kind of neat if I could find it, something to show my kids and grandkids...Grandpa was in the movies.

This was great. Brought back some memories. Actually saw some of the mistakes that were made & probably made a few myself. Running the terminal with a 216 while a deskman looked for the shunt was pretty common practice. Old C.O. types used to ask a new installer to run the terminal with a finger shunt. He’d have ringing current on the pair. You only did that once.
