Hi ...
I have a number of cameras in our buildings which face windows and garage floors/driveways.
I've tried setting blc, played with agc, and I can't seem to figure out how to reduce sunlight reflection, which can sometimes wash out subjects in the darker (indoor) foreground. By the way, the glare is not noticeable to my eye, only when viewing the cameras.
Tatung day/night. Speco 7815DNV. Dedicated Micros DS2.
Thanks in advance! Dave

Not sure about the Tatung (need a model #), but the Speco 7815DNV is a high power infrared. It will shoot IR 100ft which is strong for a camera. This will definitely cause a glare on windows and shiny concrete floors.
Just curious, is the picture from these cameras always in B&W, meaning the IR LED's are on?
It really sounds like a case of the wrong camera used for the wrong application. Those cameras are designed for outside use where there is natural sun light turning off the IR's during the day. They would be fine with grass, gravel, pavement, and exterior concrete.
