We replaced a functioning Lucent page pac with a Bogen solution when the customer upgraded from a Definity to Cisco VOIP. We are now having a problem with the page being clipped at the beginning. We have been working with Bogen on the solution but are still having problems. Using a test set we have eliminated the amp, TAMB and the Cisco loop line as the problem.
The clipping happens only when a load is placed on it from any of the 5 floors but not our test speaker.

I moved this from Avaya, since it was only a few minutes old I didn't link it.

I think your problem lies here: "Cisco VOIP". Probably not getting the proper voltage or line seizure to operate the paging.

Either that or the amp isn't powerful enough to handle the load, but that generally isn't only at the beginning. I'd guess the problem is in the TAMB
I've never had good luck with those.
They use a lot of VOX timers and are CPC dependent.
It also has 600 ohm input and outputs.
I doubt if that's compatible with the Crisco unit.

Let's start with what amp you are using, how many speakers and what they are tapped at.
