Hi again, I was hoping someone could answer another question regarding my DSC system.
Currently when we press the "Stay" button on the DSC panel, I believe it still creates a time delay on the front/garage door. I know we need to press *9 and our code to force the instant alarm on those doors but is their a way to program the stay button to instant arm the 2 front doors? similar to the patio door in the kitchen?
Thanks in advance, Dave
I have a DSC hardwired system. The board in the basement is a DSC PC-1832, I have 2 Panels (1 Main floor,1 Upstairs) PK5508.
My Setup is as follows Location# 1-Front Door/Garage Door 2-Main Floor Motion 3-2nd Floor Motion 4-Living/Dining Room Windows 5-Kitchen Windows/Sliding Door 6-Family Room/Office 7-Basement Windows 8-Smoke Detector/CO2 Detector

A function key can be programmed for it but you would still have to enter a code to arm the system.

stay button is use for when no body is leaving. It should not delay the doors but it will bypass any internal motions or doors set up in programming as internal away/stay settings. Neil
