We use compression style BNC connectors for all analog cameras, just wondering where everyone is buying them from and what brand they are using.

We use Ideal and I'm pretty sure we get them from ADI.

I am using CAT5E (PVC, plenum, and direct burial) for all my surveillance cams and getting baluns which are less expensive all the time. Is anyone else doing that? Obviously Anthony you are pulling RG59 if you are terminating with compression connectors.

What brand of baluns are you using? Do they supply power or are you running seperate power cable?

I use whatever baluns they have in stock, lol. Video is one pair and I twist the other 3 together for power.

I use cat5 and baluns when the job calls for it. I have been using MUXLabs. For smaller Jobs I am still pulling in Siamese Cable. With more and more cameras coming UTP ready and the boom of IP cams..I see me using much more UTP in the near future.
