Fellow techies,
I've been searching, for several years now, for a ComKey 718 KSU, and about four or five phones to go with it.
I don't mind paying out a bit, but neither am I looking to take out a second mortgage.
Please PM or E-mail me if you have such gear that may be looking for a new home.
Thanks much.

I would think this would be nearly impossible to find.

I'd have to agree, I looked at all the places I though might possibly have something. Doesn't mean you won't get lucky. You can get a small modern system for probably less than you'll pay for this.

I've been known to pull off the "impossible" before. ;-)
I will continue my search. Thanks for noticing, though.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
Here I go again with my never-ending "I have that" posts:
You are in luck, Bruce. We just pulled a Comkey 718 system from service about two weeks ago. It is equipped with 400G line cards, practically untouched since it was installed since they never break. I gave the customer a hard time about getting rid of it, but he insisted.
My intention was to keep the system as a collector's item, but since I am not really a formal collector with a place to display items, I would rather see this system go to someone who really IS a collector.
The only thing wrong is that the guys who removed it used the KSU cover as a carrying box for the phones, so it's likely that it's scratched and will need to be painted.
I believe that it includes at least four, possibly five or six phones. I know that one is also equipped with the beloved 4A speakerphone set.
Knowing that it was a valuable find, I gave the customer a very generous trade-in credit. I can't just give this one away. We will need to PM about it for sure.

I'm going to agree -- Nothing is impossible! ;-)
I just got off the phone with Ed. Price negotiated, deal concluded (and I bought some of the Melco A-lead adapters he had up on Ebay as well).
Thanks much! I knew it was no accident that I found this forum.
