I have an IDS 228 with Infostar voice mail, which was previously set up and working well. I recently moved the system and seem to have forgotten how to set up the forwarding to voicemail.
I want outside calls forwarded to the main VMS CCR box after 15 seconds of ringing or so. I seem to recall setting up a psydo extension to be the Auto Attendant and then sending it's calls to VMS, but have forgot the details. Can someone help please?
I have Huntgroup 36 set up to go to the Infostar box. Currently, I can get outside calls sent to an individual Infostar mailbox, but no the mail CCR mailbox. Thanks!

Probably what you did before was have a phantom extension forwarded to it's mailbox that was a mailbox type 30x. Mailbox type 301 will answer with CCRBX1, type 302 will answer with CCRBX2, etc. Look for these mailbox types in the Infostar On-Line Programming and that will be the mailbox that you want calls to get to from the system.

Do you want the VMS to answer all the calls period and effectively be an Automated Attendant? Or do you want the calls to ring through to people's extensions then go to the VMS?

I want the CO calls to go to a set of extensions, and then to VMS.
Right now I've got it set for one of the extensions that rings on a CO call to go to H36 after 15 seconds (thanks Frankiephones), which seems to work OK. There may be a better way
