I am looking for 6 to 10 San Bar 4200A Music on Hold cards to go into an existing custom system for a radio station.
I have found lot's of people on the Internet wanting to buy, but no wanting to sell.
Can anyone recommend a source for these cards.
Thanks D

Good Luck. They're not very common any more, but someone on the board may have a couple laying around.
Is there any particular reason you've got to have these particular cards?
What's the application, maybe we can help with a substitution.

Mike Sandman Sells some unique relays that can be used to sense a whole bunch of voltages.
If you have a spare line button you could possibly use an intercom card and bridge a held call as if it was a conference like the Old Comkey. In any event the caller might still hear the clicking of the Interrupter. That would be another audible challenge to over come.
I would try a some of the cheap units that offer Music on Hold for a single line sets. You would need one for each line. I would think it would have to be wired between TR in and TR out.
It's possible to use a Viking product. Instead of putting the caller on hold you would keypad the dtmf to a viking relay. But then you would need a line status monitor in conjunction to the viking relay to see what line is on hold.
I truly feel for your desire to keep 1a2 going into the 21st century and all the adjuncts your time and cost can build. This is now a hobby like it was was then years ago.
What amazes me the most is the time and cost to make this work? It cost is more than a new application unless your time and equipment is donated. Move on to the next application.
I can see the mess now with caller Id units?
This is disturbing that Your 1A2 provider can't make this happen.
Then again, it's not broke so why fix it?

In western electric terms it was called a Conference card for 1a2. I think have a few. There is a way to make the music work without the cards.
Think in terms of creating a page path out when you need an audible source in.

Just the other day I saw a multi line music on hold application for four lines that would work with 1A2.
You would need a qualified installer.

Oldphon -
If you have some, please PM Dan direct. We don't post or discuss prices on the board.

Matt -
Pointing someone to ebay is fine. We just don;t talk price among ourselves on line.
