I'm looking for a user and/or service manual for a Proctor P-652A Pulse Distortion Analyzer. This was a piece of test equipment that was probably made in the early 1970's. It was used to test dial pulses.
Also, is there a way to post to more than one forum?
Thanks!

As far as I know, you can only post to one forum at a time, but if that's not the case I'm sure someone will chime in and correct/instruct me.
I don't have a manual for that piece of equipment, but maybe someone else does? Give it a couple of days and see what happens.
Are you just trying to get a legacy piece of equipment up and running or are you trying to test some DP equipment? If the latter, there is some equipment floating around the members basements/garages/attics that might be able to help you.

It's actually preferred that you only make a post in one forum instead of posting the same thing in several. It will likely get consolidated into one post by the appropriate moderation staff anyway.
Tone Commander Systems bought out Proctor about five years ago and still markets some of their products. I doubt that they will be able to help you with that particular product, but if you call them and ask for technical support, they might have access to old Proctor documentation. Their phone number is 800-524-0024. They are a friendly and helpful bunch.

Thanks guys, I am actually just trying to get an old piece of equipment up and running. It looks like someone cobbled togther a power supply inside to replace what was probably batteries originally powering the unit. In any case, today I got in touch with someone who used to work at Proctor, and he thinks he has the manual I need.
