Well, I got the buzzers to work, and I get light on line 4, but I had already connected the 3 pairs for line 4 beforehand. They are in the correct order.

Could the problem be that no slot has pins 3 and 18 connected (except for slot 4, which I connected as you instructed, albeit in reverse polarity)?

As it stands, I get no talk path on line 4.

Ed,

I had the 401A KTU in slot 4 for several weeks WITHOUT having pins 3/18 connected to AB/AG (I had removed all wiring from pins 3/18 on all my slots when I had tried to install my 403 isolation card).

Since the 401A was in slot 4 for several weeks without being connected to AB/AG, and I had tried on several occasions to see if I had a talk path on line 4, do you think I might have fried the 401A card?

I don't see what else could be the problem. I followed your instructions to the letter.

I don't think you fried it. Test pins 3 & 18 on slot 4 with a voltmeter and see if you're getting 24VDC there.

That would be the first place to test.

Woohoo!!! I got it! The AB 24VDC fuse was blown. all's good now! smile

it was hard to tell that it had blown, because usually the entire filament kind of disappears when a fuse is blown. In this one, it was the slightest perferation. Hard to spot except from real close up!

It always makes my day when my machines work smile
