Hello there!
I know I don't have the knowledge that you guys have about W/E key tel systems. I always liked these phone systems and set one up in my house. It's basic - 4 sets showing 2 line appearances on all sets with common ringing (which I screwed up somehow and now it doesn't work). But I enjoyed doing the installation and was happy that it worked when I was finished!
Anyway, I recently purchased a 4A speakerphone setup from ebay. I want to hook it up on one of my 2565hkm sets, but I lost my BSP manual. (I have the volumes on disk, but misplaced vol.1) I didn't find anything in volume 2 on setting this puppy up.
The speaker is a 108AA with a 680AE switch. They are terminated in a WE 223D. I also have the transformer which is on a separate cable. The cable coming out of the 223D with spade lugs is what I am assuming is to be connected to the tel set. The wire colors are w/bl, bl/w, w/or, or/w, w/gr, gr/w, and w/br. The other 9 wires are blocked off as spares.
Does anyone know how these get connected to the tel set? I googled this about 15 different ways and kept getting this site as a result. I did a little snooping around and saw that you guys give a lot of good advice and answers to questions.
Thanks for any help you can lend a "1A2 virgin"!

Kevin: I'm pretty sure that I can help you, but I don't have my docs here at home. I'll look into this tomorrow for you and post back. I guess you kept hitting our site in your Google search because we have it all! Welcome aboard.

Thanks guys. I'll review the bsp and see if I can hook it up! I'll let you know how it works.

Ok- I'm dense! I'm reading the schematic. I can't locate any of the designations on the network or the key that are referenced for the tel set. Unless I'm just not seeing them!
Thanks!

I was having the same problem Keyman. For a 565 telset, LK goes to L1. P3 and P4 go to terminals 8 and 7 respectively. T1 goes to RR. AG goes to N, and R1 goes to 9. These are the corresponding terminals for a 565 tel set, but I'm quite sure they're universal.
Actually, since you're setting up a 2565, I'm almost certain they are the same.

Thanks Cat. That's so much better! It's almost there! I have 1 wire left designated to A1.
It's not working yet, but I do hear a clicking in the speaker when I press the ON button.
Any other suggestions? I appreciate everyone's help!
Thanks.

Kevin:
A1 is the orange/white line cord conductor. Look for it to be terminated on a screw terminal immediately to the right of the left-hand dial bracket.
