hi,
i just bought a NEW old stock single slot payphone. came in original box reading "pay station cabinet". the phone is complete except for what looks to be the main cicuit board. i want to wire in a network and ringer from an old mod 500 desk phone. anyone know how to do this? i want to use the original touch pad and handset of the payphone. i already have it so all the silver coins dropped in it go directly to the coin vault. pennies drop in the return bucket, nice piggy bank. i want to get it to work on a residential system tho....any ideas???

Here this should help. I did the same thing several years ago. Mine was a stainless model.
