Hello to all, I am new to the board and need of some help. My new boss brought to me a Sprint Protege MTX with 2 DEI and 2 ATI cards along with a Voice mail part number SVP-4 that he picked up off of EBAY. The Eprom is K72UF4.F29 I am in need of the interface software to program the unit, manuals if someone has them in soft copy, any advice on connecting the VM. I'm sure I will come up with more questions as I try to work with the switch. Thanks

You have mentioned the dreaded ebay. The bane of interconnects everywhere. The software you want is aval. However it won't be that simple, The voicemail also requires its own software it sounds like at the very least you need some tech support. Email me.

Got the software install on my PC, but cannot connect to the PBX. I used the F10 to configure the COMM1 port to ever speed and no luck when I hit F5 to establish a connection. Not sure if I need to set a specific AT string. Any ideas??????
The cable that I am using is a straight throw, does it need to be a roll??

Straight thru cable is correct, speed should be 19200........Make sure you are pluged into the RMP port not the SMDR port.... Also make sure the do not have caller Id units on the system, if so you will need to go to a keyset and disable the caller id.... If all else fails or is not applicable ........reboot the system and try again.......
You may also want to make sure the com port you are using is the com port for the rs232 on your computer....

I got into the system. What I need now is part numbers for the cable assemblies to go from the DEI and ATI cards to a 66-block. Thanks all for the emails and all the help.
