I can't get the RMP software to communicate with my CTX. Just keep getting red error message about cant do that until the system is connected. tried different cables, windows98, then DOS, reconfigured my rs232 ports etc. It's as if I haven't connected the ctx to the computer Got any ideas? Thanks

I am having the same problem. You need to make sure that the RMP software version on your computer is that same as that stamped on the ROM chips inside your phone cabinet. For example, my RMP disk says Protege CTX R32US4.F06, but when I take the cover off the phone system, the chips are labeled K32US4.F01. You don't happen to have the version I need do you. The version is also labeled at the bottom of the screen when the program is running.

Hi; Well I finally got the two to communicate. I plugged into the modem connector, played with commands for awhile and suddenly It Worked. The RMP software I have will not work for you, but if you read ALL of the postings on this board having to do with Sprint carefully, you will find people willing to help. You may have to send a check, but it is there. Thanks for your reply and helpful hint. I think this type of person - to person forum is extremely valuable.
