I am a total amateur with these phone systems. I finally got my RMP software to communicate with my computer, and now I find there is a lot of unfamiliar terminology do deal with. Does anybody have (or did they even make) a user guide for Sprint RMP software ?

Do you mean to say I should not ask for help on this forum - Even if I am an amateur ?

This forum is designed to help the end user with answers to user type questions as well as installer level help for telecom installers in the private installers forum. It is not intended to help end users with installer level information that would take work away from another telecom installer as we would be be taking business away from one of our compadres. We as installers feel that the solution to your issue is to align with a qualified professional in your area who can help support you. If that is not the route you are looking to take then you need to find another forum that offers this type of support to end users - this forum does not and will not.

Thank you to WalterV and to Upstateny. I am only installing the system in my home so that people don't have to shout at each other. I got an obsolete system on ebay and asked for help. As it turns out, I am part of a greater problem with other amateurs taking business away from the pros. I did not in any way intend to do that, and In fact in one of my postings, I did ask for help finding a local tech (for hire) to help. I want to thank everybody who did help, and reassure all that Nobody lost business as a result of my questions.

welcome to the forums , what you are requesting is tech level support which isn't offered here in the open forums
you should try to find a local dealer to help you , check the installers links at the top of the page if you need help finding one

the purpose of the message or forum. I hope you understand I will not post again, and will seek my answers from only the pros.
