Hi, I just installed a Tadiran Emerald Ice with flash voice mail for my home office. I like the ability to see Caller ID on my standard cordless phones. My problem is when I receive a call waiting tone is there any way to just hit flash to pickup second call. The manual says hit flash then #3, a little hard to get used to. I would also like to have my SLT's set up for automatic CO line access instead of intercom dialtone then dial 9 for trunk. I have the installation manual but this issue doesn't seem to be addressed. Any advice appreciated. Thanks, nectec

pressing flash puts your call on hold, you could then try pressing * to p/u the second call. I don't have an Ice system set up to test this but it should work. You could also try using a park code for the 1st call.

for the second issue (auto co) you could try to put a trunk access code (ex "9") in a speed dial (600) and set the phone up for "hot line". This is done by going off hook and dialing #9* 600, 2, this will access syst. speed dial 600 and wait 2 seconds. Try it. It just might do the trick. To cancle press #*9*.

If all else fails try calling tech. support and ask them if there are codes available. It can be done with the digital sets. Good luck.
