Dear all,
We have a customer who is having flexicom 5000 with remote shelf.They are currently using 8 slots in it.We are not able to configure the 9th slots onwards .We are getting DC instead of dial tone.
THe system version is 14.67 and the remote shelf is flexicom 5000.Also note that we are able to configure the cards(say 24sls) and it shows active in 9th slots onwards but no dial tone.
The other side is flexicom 400

The following action has been taken already
please help me to solve the problem
1.Interchanged 4GC CARD.
2.REPLACED PB24 CARD
3.CHECKED THE PCM CABLES ON MAIN MOTHER BOARD
4.ISOLATED THE FIBRE OPTIC CABLE.
5.REPLACED PPS IN REMOTE SHELF
still the problem persists

Have you called Tadiran for support? You need field engineering for this one.

It is TS setting on SW-HW
Look at Sysgen - 5 (units)
1. is it set to be remote?
2. is it the correct TS ? (128/256/512)
3. Set JP 1-2-3 on the remote PBD24M correctly.
