I've been trying to figure out how to change the number of rings until a extension rolls to voice mail on our Coral II (v. 11.10.15) system for over a week now, and have come up short. Can someone steer me in the right direction? I've compared about every setting I can think of between an extension that goes 6 rings and one that goes 12, and have seen no difference.

In Programming, go into ST.T and look for fwd_no_ans timer. Remember most of the ring times are in Milli seconds.

OK - maybe I'm still looking in the wrong place....

In CONFIG - SYS_PARAMS - TIMERS - ST or ST.T, I see this:
RING- 450
MULT_APR_RING- 900
BUSY- 1200
REORDER- 50
CONFIRM- 9
DVMS- 200
HOLD- 3000
HARD_HOLD- 1200
PARK- 6000
PAGE_Q- 6000
1st_DGT - 100
INTERDGT- 100
FEAT_DIAL- 600
HKFLS_FILTER- 400
MAGNETO_AUTO_ANS- 30
CF_NO_ANS- 250

Am I looking in the wrong place? I can reduce this number, but It doesn't explain why some phones ring 6 times, and some 12 before rolling to VM.....

If the CF_NO_ANS is the setting - wouldn't 250 Mili seconds only be about 1 ring?

Are both ext. the same type?
Is one member of Boss?
ST.T units are 0.1, 250 = 25 Seconds

yes - I think one is a member of a boss group... that probably explains the difference. Would the ring delay in the boss settings come into play here?

Yes, In the boss group there is a delay timer that you can mess with but for just regular extensions in ST.T the forward no answer timer is the last on your list above

CF_NO_ANS- 250
