We are experimenting with the Seamail voicemail in the IPX office. When accessing the voicemail from T208 series phones, we noticed the prompts sound very muddy. We tried setting the Codec to G.711 but that didn't work. Is there a way to improve the sound?

The T207 and T208 phones always seemed to have a sound problem honestly. I don't think it is your voice mail causing that.

Just a thought are the IP Phones and the Voicemail ports assigned to seperate IP Zones, force the call through the UGW might help.

We do have the phones and seamail in separate zones. Will this automatically force calls through UGW or is there something else that needs to be programmed to make that happen?
