Has anyone tried the HD seamail for the IPX office? What is the feedback/reception for it? The boss is selling one and I'm wanting to know how deep of **** he's got me in this time.

I just set one up here in the lab, it was very straightforward to do. We set it up to do voice mail to email via Pop3 and it worked like a champ!
Essentially, it was (pardon the expression)pretty much plug and play.

Seamail so far is pretty good. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CURRENT SEAMAIL CONTROLLER SOFTWARE! If you use the older seamail controller with newer seamail software you will get numerous issues with connectivity and transferring. Otherwise its seems stable easy to use and can put Tadiran's reputation of bad voicemails behind them. The voicemail I believe is only available on the IPX office

RSM says the HD kit still is shaky for an 8 port integration, so looks like I'll be using the old outboard. Which means I've got to find room for a rack in the bathroom/phoneroom. Either that or extend the MDF to the cupboard they're using for a data closet.

so far on the 4 port drive in the office is working pretty good. menus are great out call and email very easy. So far the page and park does not work and transferring directly to a conference bridge is no good. i will keep everyone posted. Very easy to use lots of apps. If the hardrive stays reliable they may have the product. Web based through the UGW

Why no transfer to the conference bridge? I'll probably set that up via DID anyway. I did like that in the uCMC you could password protect that. Any suggestions on a workaround?
