Hi all,
Is there anyway to pull the incoming and outgoing call directly from Tadiran IPXOffice without additional software?
I'd been trying to look directly from Coral View Designer database but wasn't there. There is no table for call log.
Can I do without Coral Navigator client?
Please let me know if anybody has experience on this call log.

Thank you and regards
Dendiko

If you do not need missed calls, use the SMDR

SMDR is the only way...

It can spit out raw data to a text file or printer. No additional software needed.

A flexset 121s or 281s can store the last 100 calls, incoming and outgoing combined I believe. Providing there is adequate memory in the system and the system was sized for it. By default the system is only sized for 20 records.

We were commenting on the IPXOffice only not the phones. Yes, the phones can hold inbound and outbound, but there is no way of getting that to a report or file. Unless you use Navigator, and it sounds like he doesn't want any additional software to do it.

Thanks a lot,
Looks SMDR is the only choice. The reason not to use coral navigator is because every extension has to have navigator install and can not be maintain cetrally for all the log.
Is there any suggestion for the simple and easy SMDR to use with IPXOffice and also not to expensive.

thanks

You can get Tapit call accounting software that seems to be pretty cheap. type in Tapit call accounting in google and you should find it.

Before getting the software. Can I use Hyperterminal through TCP/IP(winsock) just to see the raw data.
What port should I use if I could connect through TCP/IP Hyperterminal.
By the way, do I need to enable or set SMDR on IPXOffice?

Thanks

Yes and Yes.

you can have the SMDR spitting out of the UGW IP card..

The way I have done it in the past is use the SMDR port on the IPXoffice and connect it to a LanTronics Serial to IP converter and then connect thru IP from another computer to get your information. That way, you can use the UGW for programming your system.

Hi,
I just got LanTronics and configure it but still not able to read anything from IPXOffice.
So I used direct connection using Null Modem cable connected to UGW COM port ( there are two port; KB0 and UGW COM) and use setting 9600,8,None,1,None. But still not read anything.
Is there any setting that I am still need to enable on my IPXOffice?

Thank you
dendiko
