We have two Coral sites connected with Q-sig(PRI), with a uCMC voicemail at the main site. One user at a node wants to silent monitor & call record users at both sites. Thought about the SLT to TRK loop around across the network. Has anybody done this, and has there been any issues with a disconnect? Thanks

If you have IP, set an IP phone as use it,

SLT-LS TRK is not a good chice,
try E&M trunk

I thought about an IP phone off the main switch, but I still have the Silent monitor issue at the node....again needing the work around. Both cabinets are full, trying to add E & M cards may be real expensive. Has anyone used an external personal logger that connects to any handset? This records as a wav file onto a PC...

I have used analog loop around on a trunk port (at remote nodes) and had zero issues with disconnect. Usually I use a library that inserts the #1981 so that it seems seemless. You will HAVE to use the loop around for ALL silent monitoring is you use the voicemail because a silent monitoring station cannot be monitored.
