This is a very complex question that I will try to simplify the best I can. I have a three node side with IPG cards for site to site traffic. Purpose is to use a wicmc voice mail at node 252 for phones at node 250.

Test 1 works. Call toll free # that hits a cmc at node 251, the mailbox for ext 6685 is set to ring 1685 that is a lib at node 250 that dials 6685 out trunk 6685. phone rings then cfna to local lib that dials 66851 out trunk 8999 (network number for apdl at node 252. Success in leaving a voice mail!

Test 2 works. 4 digit dial 6685 from node 251. direct dials 6685 and follows cfna listed above. Success in leaving a voice mail.

Test 3 works. Call a DID for ext 6685 node 250 cfna as listed above and again success.

Test 4 works. 6685 dials their cfna lib directly and the apdl answers so they can leave a voice mail.

Test 5. I call from node 252 directly to 6685 at node 250. Caller answers and manually transfers me to the cfna lib and hangs up. I end up in vmail to leave message.

Now the failures.
both 4 digit dial from node 252 where the wicmc is and calling a local number that dials the wicmc both ring 6685 at node 250 same cfna and both calls hit the wicmc node 252 and they are sent to the OPEN box, never hits the mailbox allowing to leave a message.

I have so many ways into our network that 5 out of 7 are success but any calls made from 252 with the wicmc local never go to the mail box.

I have tried remapping in wicmc, libs with E1.6685.D1, and other

I hope this was not to complex and has left 3 of us scratching our heads? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, so many questions. I believe the IPG cards use a form of QSIG. A couple of questions:

1) Are you using alternate line ID's?
2) Is your QSIG setup correctly with routing?
3) Are you using digital or analog integration with the WICMC?
4) Are the libraries at the remote site or at the host site?

We finally found it, it was in the wicmc itself. Had to set transfer to release. What a tough one!
