We have a Nortel Option 61 that we are migrating to a Tadiran. Only appear to have one problem, we currently are using Edify as an IVR and it uses a line side T-1. Is Tadiran able to mimick this? if so does anyone know how to do it?

I don't see this as an issue. You will need a T1 crossover cable, and configure the T1 as the correct type of signaling, frame etc.. What are the concerns? Tadiran uses T1's to interface with all kinds of vmails and IVR systems.

We are finally at a point where we can work on this now. Have a T-1 hooked up (needed to use D4 AMI) the system works fine however there is an 8 second delay before the Edify system answers, after it answers it works fine. Does anyone know why there would be a delay in answering?

If you are using libraries to route the calls try putting E0 (eee zero) at the end of the dial string.
If that doesn't help this... I am assuming E&M wink or immediate start? Make sure your channels are set correctly and the timers match up.
