If you have a display phone and you get the busy signal, press the F2 or F3 soft key for "VMmsg". (Can't remember which one). Then leave them a message.
OR
Go into programming under: 1. Extension Application 2. Preset Call Forwarding 3. System Path and make sure the VM group is there. 4. Extension Path and make sure the VM group is there in path A. 5. Check the Extension Path and make sure that "Intercom" has a Y next to it.
Professor Shadow may correct me on the details. :thumb:

Also.
On Voice Mail cannot answer a "Voice Call' on an Intercom call...only a ringing call.
So if you have intercom calls preset call forward to voice mail, then ALL intercom call will Ring, not Voice.
I cannot decuce from your profile if you are an end-user or a programmer, so I don't know if 6string and I are talking 'over' your head.

In programming go to:
Extension Application\Preset Call Forward\Extension Preset Table
Under CALL TYPE change ICM from N to Y
[This is on an extension by extension basis]
Once that is done it will follow the path that is currently set up. Most of the time it's BUSY/NO ANSWER to Voice Mail.
This information is on Page 5-126 of the manual.
Also to make everthing go faster, don't forget System Application\Preset Forward Copy (page 5-172). Only change the ones you KNOW need to be forwarded...easier to fix if you have multiple fowarding paths.
Hope this helps.
