I have a customer with a Sprint LTX with a T1 and have an intermittent problem that is driving me crazy. The receptionist has 5 pool buttons, what she is saying is she will put an incoming caller on hold, the pool button that the call came in on flashes (which is normal). While handling other callers while this call is on hold, the held callers pool button stops flashing, looking as if the call was dropped, but the call is not dropped, the caller is still on hold somewhere in limbo where we can't see. When the on hold recall timer expires the call rings back to the receptionist but she cannot answer the call.
Any ideas what is up here?
Thanks Walter

I'm thinking it's time for a warm-start.
Are the calls answered by the receptionist first or AA? If it's AA, then it might be something with the AA pulling the call back... but...
If you think it might be a corruption in the database, then the first place to look is USER NAMES and SPEED DIAL NUMBERS. It seems that those screens will reveal a corruption almost ever time.
A warm start through MAINTENANCE in RMP would be a starting point.
What version of software is on the KSU?

We did a cold start and sent each part back one at a time. Not sure what version but thinking the latest. We also swapped out ATI cards. I will check for corruption. How would you take a call off hold if there is no line button for that call? This is not the scenario but want to use this example. A call gets transferred to a phone that has no line keys or pool buttons, that phone puts the caller on hold, how does that user retrieve the call?? I remember there was a code to do that, just don't remember what that code was

AARRRRGGGGGG!
For some reason I cannot open my .pdf files. I know it's my PC because it also wouldn't open a different .pdf file not associated...
Let me rephrase that: I will send you the user guides. You are correct in knowing that there is a code for picking up Loop/Pool lines on-hold, but my memory is a bit lax for some reason.
