Does anyone remember how to save messages from a mailbox onto a floppy disk ?I need to save all messages from a mailbox. I remeber it being done in DOS.

Would it be easier to copy the messages to another mailbox?

Yes it would. But I would rather it be on a floppy or a CD.

with system off line C: CD\ then press the ENTER key to be at the root directory.
CD\MAILBOX then push the ENTER key
should show C:\MAILBOX
type backup C: A:/S and press the ENTER key

I am not sure if this will work... It may just copy the mailboxes and not the messages.
you then can do a "restore" to put them back or into a new machine.
