I would assume that this means all the existing Korean products would now be made in Taiwan. This is what they have done for all the older lines for years. However, after reading this article, I wonder if there is more than that going on.

How does this LG-Nortel thing work since Nortel is basically no more? Or am I just confused

LG-Nortel was/is a separate entity. The Nortel shares will be sold to another company in the next few months. Hopefully, the name will become just plain LG.
