I am a newbie to phone systems, so I was just looking for a couple of answers.
I just bought a few executone 17 K/D phones and I was wondering if they would work without a PBX? Also what is the button HF for? and why is it that on 3 of the phones that I bought this button is labeled VA, but one phone has it labeled HF. Thanks!

1) Will NOT work, Need an Executone/Isotec IDS System 84,108,228,432 or a 648
2)HandsFree, Intercom Only .
3)HF or VA (voice announce)samething.
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..
