Hello everyone, I know the trouble of norvergence and was hoping to get a final answer from someone. A client of mine has a Norvergence Matrix CSS system. It is not installed and he was asking me to see if it works. I have the cd manuals for administrator and user, but not installer. Can some please tell me if I am waisting time here and should tell my client that the box is useless or point me to a place where I can get the proper documentation to put this system in operation.
Thanks

Regarding Norvergence, I don't think they manufactured anything. Their matrix was a rebadged Atran unit. So their phone system was probably rebadged too. In a recent install, I met a guy who worked for Norvergence, he siad he knew all along that it was a scam and that he was only in it to pickup their customers after the collapse. He also said those bros where starting something new out of Ohio. Beware!

The phone system that Norvergence "sold" as part of the matrix was the ESI system. We had a customer that switched to them (they said the package was hard to not turn down compared to our upgrade price for a new system), had the system installed, got the notice for payment from the bank when Norvergence folded, but still has not paid for it and is using it. They called us to reinstall their old system when they are forced to remove it or pay for it. We are still waiting.....

Thanks for the input, it gives me a place to start looking for the information concerning the phone unit.

Annacat is absolutely correct. The Matrix CCS is an ESI system with the only change being the LCD phone display going to www.norvergence.com instead of www.ESI-estech.com. ESI phone and Norvergence labeled phones are the exact same. Let me know if you need an ESI manual for programming.

Thanks,
I could use an installation and programing guide. The administrator guide does nothing for me.
