I have a customer with a 228 cabinet with an Eclipse 2.5.1 CPU. They wanted to replace (2) 12 port trunk cards with PRI. Incoming calls are fine, the system sees the last 4 digits and routes the call perfectly. Outbound calls are getting rejected by the carrier (Embarq). When dialing a 7 digit local number you hear a recording saying "The number that you have dialed, it reads back the number, has been disconnected". I can dial all of the same local numbers from a POTS line just fine. When dialing toll free or LD, a different greeting is heard " Due to a Telephone Company switching error, your call cannot be completed". I was told by someone in their translations department during the cut that they were seeing all of the digits being sent but needed to see an "Unknown" protocol for local calls and a "National" protocol for LD calls. The circuit was originally built as National 2 but it wouldn't even let calls dial outbound until I had them change it to National 1. I tried all possible line types, 0, 1, 60, 61. I also had Senderized Digits turned on (because they do not have LCR) and LCR Centrex turned on. Is there anyone that has ever had this problem before or do you think that their PRI is just not compatable with the Executone?
FYI: I connected the same PRI to a small Altigen system that I had brought to the site to test and outbound was fine.

A PRI was always a problem is the Executone without direct downloads from Executone. I heard that most problems and the download issues were solved with version 3.0. There is a tech from Danbury CT who has written in the past who should be able to answer your questions.

PRI will work with any carrier. you need to set the Senderized Digits set to Y you need to set LCR Centrex option to Y line type 61, because it will receive CID tie/did set to Y and the most important one is in the debug, you need to set PRI_NO_NFS to 5A,5A this has to be done for each cabinet if you have 432 or 648.
if you do not know how to do it, find me. I will help you make this work
