I have a new customer with a reinitialyzed Executone IDS 84. I went into programming and assigned line buttons OK. However none of the 840 codes work (841 for hold,etc.) so how can I assign hold and speaker keys to M12 sets?

Look in the system options menu, there is a Y/N option for locate fixed keys, by default it is Y.
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

I only have version 2.15 software and "Locate fixed keys" does not appear in my system options menu.My manual says I need 6.0 minimum for this option to appear. Help!!!

O.K. I got it. M series phones will only work on 4.0 software or higher. I switched processors for one with a new battery on it and bought a lot of grief by going to a processor with a lower software level. Oh well, thanks a lot "nonameyet" for the help.
