I have a system with 5 CRT's. Every once in a while the phone box will go hands free when they go to make a call. Hands free receive is set to no.
Thanks in advance.

Also set HF CO and HF Itcm to No. See if that helps. Mike

Do you mean an operator CRT screen? I could see a sticky hookswitch doing that on a phone.

is it always the same operator box? are you running the Rs232 through the box? replace the box and try it again.

It happens more frequently on 1 phone box but it does happen on more that 1. Sorry i had HF CO and HF ICM set to no already. I will try and replace the box and see how that goes and i will update. Thanks.

Also check your line cord feeding the operators box, make sure it's in good shape. I've seen bad line cords cause this to happen and "Garbage" to jump on the screen as well.

I think the line cord is the likely answer. Pick up some good quality cords and if you have any black M- style phone with the black 6 wide line cords steal them for the IOT and use them your issue should go away Randy

It's probably a station port going bad. Swap the operator station to a good port.
