After a recent power outage where we lost our features and ACD functions, the need for a backup/replacement for our voicemail system disk seemed like a good idea. Can someone please outline the steps to copy the voicemail disk drive to a replacement disk or solid state disk. I have tried imaging from the original disk to a new disk which copies everything from what I can tell to the new drive. The new drive will boot and go thru the normal boot sequence and then stop with the message that the software version is different. You can then goto the 3. Update screen menu item, where the system id is displayed along with many other things, but the ACTIVATION CODE is blank. What files need to be copied, edited etc. to make the backup copy work correctly? Thanks for any help you can provide.

copy will not work. due to features that have to be activates. once you change the serial number of the hard drive, it turns off the ports and hours and it will not let you boot. I can fix that remotely, once I have access to the system, or you can by a flash drive from us and I will help you move the files over with out hurting the features. thanks
