We have need to hookup some sidecars to phones. How does one go about doing that? and then programming it? Does it need another wire run to it like a phone?

well, I guess You figured out what ever was going on with the M64 phones? From Your Last Post in January?
Anyway, Yes the " sidecars " also known a DSS Consoles need another Seperate 2 Pairs each. Then they are " attached " in Programming to the Phones
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

Yep, so there are some who would say no way, but the cards were causing the problem.... I changed to a newer rev card and it worked 1st time... put the older rev card back in and problem came back....
On to the sidecar, so do I assume I just wire it the same way as a phone but to another port? then once I have wired the port where do I "attach" it in the software?

Yes it wires the same as a phone then on station programming screen use option G to assign it to a phone.

Then where do I program the keys to extensions?

in the A screen go to the ext you assigned it and go to keys just like a phone
