I have an extension I thought I setup correct, it answers internal calls fine, and the user can access fine using a model 64 phone NP.... but when an external call is xfered to it, it just rings and rings until it is kicked back to the sending externsion...
any ideas?

check the G screen programing, there are y/n for both intercom and CO calls for forwarding, also, there is Both Day and nite.
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

That's correct there are 3 sections you need to check one is ICM calls and the other is CO calls each section has 3 settings. No Ans,Busy and All
the All section is also controlled by the forward key. Also check you timer settings as it may be recalling the station due to that setting. But most likely it's like Nonameyet stated you just don't have the CO section set correctly. Both Day and Night mode. Once in G screen press S to flip screen to night mode.
