What is the best way to do a night ring on an IDS108 in which it will ring to every phone in the building as well as over the page? I currently have a call coverage key for day ring, when the operator fails to answer after 3 rings it rings over to some of the other offices and a call coverage key for night ring that will ring immediately to all phones when a call comes in. The day coverage works fine but the night setup seems to be flaky and not always work and sometimes it will ring over the page but most of the time it doesn't. It flips over to night mode automatically like it should and I have the lines all set to ring over page at night.

Make a spare analog station ring in night mode. Put that station into a unique pickup group. Put ringing pickup 9XX where XX=pickup group of analog station. on every phone that you want to have ring. To ring over page, navigate to appropriate external zone and set the line IDs for line that you want to ring.

I will give it a try. Most of the time the night call coverage worked but sometimes it didn't. I already had the external zone set up for night right on all the lines but it seems like it hasn't been ringing over the page more than it has been.

What about the 802 Night Answer Key? Would this give me the same result?

Does the fact that our outside calls come in through our VX2 auto attendant have any affect on how the night ring would operate?

802 won't help with calls answered by AA. Have AA transfer call to analog phone described in my initial suggestion and it will work. Ring over page won't work after a call has been answered by AA without a special "rig" (analog port looped into spare CO position - set to trigger ring over page).

Instead of messing with the AA I just set up a night forward from the operator to the analog port and the ring group seems to work. Tied the port to a CO and the ROP seems to work as well. Thanks!
