I have an EVX that we put a flash drive in. The problem is that the voice mail resets 3 or 4 times a day. The EVX is in our bench 228 system and if the 228 is the problem not a big deal if EVX is the problem I need to find out how to correct it. Hope some one has an idea on this.

Is the 228 system resetting as well due to idle time? And are you able to see anything on the EVX screen? I.E. Does it show a file error.

I can see the EVX screen doesn't show errors not sure if 228 is resetting. I haven't witnessed reset, does the 228 reset when idle even if auto reset is set to no?

Go to the CNT-C N screen and you can see when the 228 reset itself look in the field of soft reset at the top. To stop the 3 hr idle reset time go to the option below and set to Y this will stop that.
(RST DISABLE) it defaults to N
SOFT RESET: 103019 102095 example of soft reset time and date. 103019 AM on 10/20/95
