There is some feature that was apparently set on my phone that once I have a dial tone, if I try and dial either "*" or "#" before dialing an actual number, the line hangs up on me.
Does anyone know how to fix this so that I can dial "*61" without the line hanging up??
Thanks.

This can be changed.....but only in system programming. If this system is your employer's you'll have to talk to your boss about geting this restriction removed. If it is your own system, you will be able to change it. Someone else will have to help you with that though, as I don't know the first thing about Inter-Tel systems.

Thanks it is my system, I just don't know how to remove the restriction. And I can't find it anywhere in the manual either.
Thanks - I am hoping someone knows how to do it and can share that with me.
Thanks again.
