I need to upgrade a customer to the latest version possible. Looking for a re-seller
who can get me as far as possible, maybe even the current 8.2. Any suggestions?

you can always check the Inter-Tel site www.inter-tel.com and click the "Where to Buy" link as well. You can't go wrong from the recommendations from this Bulletin Boards link or the manufacturers.

I don't believe you can upgrade your CPU past 5.119 without acquiring a newer PAL chip. Also, version 8.0 and up can only be installed on the newer style CPU that was released at the same time as 8.0 came out. If you need to upgrade, you will have to contact an Inter-Tel dealer. It won't be cheap either.
