I have a customer with a Premier system that needs an extension jack moved. I read that if the polarity on the first pair is straight a fuse blows on the sta A board when the set is plugged in. Is this correct? if the worst happens can you remove the station board and replace the fuse with the system powered up? I don't normally work on Inter-tel and the customer doesn't have the system manuals. Thanks for any advice.

If you blow a fuse you can once you fix problem, remove old fuse and replace it without removing card or shutting system down.
