I have a client who has an old Axxent 2.0 system. Their hard drive recently failed, and was replaced.

I have the old hard drive, and was wondering if there was any way to retrieve the voice mail messages off of the drive.

I can access the drive, and found the folder where the message files are stored. The files did not have an extension, and I have attempted to use a couple of audio conversion programs to convert them to WAV files, but none of the programs seem to recognize the files.

Has anyone else tried this with success?

Can you access the old drive with Norton Ghost? If so make an image.

You cant just copy the audio files from the old hard drive. There are other files that go along with those that tell the audio files where to go etc.
