Not sure here what you are trying to do. Do you want to forward the operators phone to an out of state number? If so, just have her press FWD then hit outgoing and dial the LD number to include the 1. What I think you want to do tho, is to transfer a call to an out of state number, that many people call in for. In this way, the easiest way to do it is to have an extension set up either on a DSS or as a programmable key on the phone that is forwarded to the out of state number. After you forward the extension, you can disconnect the phone and the forward will stay, but you will not be able to use that port for any other extension. ------------------ Voice and Data Cabling in DFW, [email protected]https://www.dnrcomm.com

Depends on how it is programmed. If it is a speed dial number, programming from the admin station on an executive phone gives you a Pause (puts in a P). If in Programming, I think a comma will work (,,,). ------------------ Voice and Data Cabling in DFW, [email protected]https://www.dnrcomm.com

Not sure if this will work in a forwarding environment, but if you go to the station you've got programmed to forward, and enter 391(account code follows - feature code), followed by the account code number that might just work.
Be sure to adjust your system timer for Unsupervised CO Transfers so the call doesn't bounce back to the receptionist during the middle of the call.

Andrea is right on that one, but it may require some additional programming to get it to work. If it's station that you are fowarding, you can get a pause in there by using the special key (Looks like an infinity symbol) and I believe the star key. If you have a standard display phone you can experiment to see what you're getting.
